Bring the whole family to Cavallo Point for this fun family festival celebrating birds of prey. Enjoy a rare opportunity to encounter wildlife up-close, through a meet-and-greet with WildCare’s hawks and owls, an opossum, and reptiles including Mohave the Desert Tortoise.
The event also feature a mobile nature exhibit, an owl-themed puppet show with Wildcare’s Hungry Owl Project, live music by Tim Weed & Friends, and a delicious vegetarian box lunch featuring a special menu prepared by Cavallo Point Executive Chef Michael Garcia.
The festivities culminate with an awe-inspiring 45-minute presentation featuring magnificent hawks and owls from Native Bird Connections. Tickets are limited, so purchase yours early and don’t miss this day of fun and discovery!
Talons & Friends is presented by Cavallo Point and WildCare. A portion of event proceeds go to support WildCare, a San Rafael-based nonprofit delivering world-class medical care through their open-admission wildlife hospital, as well as environmental education, community engagement, and advocacy for the protection of wildlife and our shared habitat.
