Tam Valley Earth Day Festival

Join us for our Earth Day Festival at the Community Center.

Here are a few of the fun things we have planned:

10am Come early and learn something new

• Marine Mammal Center Talk - come learn about their important work and do some fun activities.
• Woodworking project with Aaron Sanchez of The Local Trade - free class but space is limited so sign up here in advance.

11am Earth Day Festival

• Smoothie Bike - kids! come peddle power your smoothie!
• Screen printed canvas bags with a new 2026 image. Or bring your own tee shirt or bag for us to print on!
• Marine Mammal Center activity booth - come do fun things with the MMC after their talk.
• Butterfly Talk - Join Michael Bogart and Mia Monroe for all things Monarch Butterfly including free milkweed seeds to plant when you get home!
• Buy some yummy baked goods from Birdland Bakery with coffee from Upside Coffee!
• Paint a Mandala Rock with Niki - sign up every half hour on the hour
• Learn about green burial with Fernwood cemetery - our neighbor right up the hill!
• And more!

3pm Tam Valley Speaker Series presents:

• Sequoias of the Sea - a documentary about the loss of kelp on our CA coasts and how restoration efforts are helping to bring it back! (See more above)
