At Terra Mandarin, we teach Mandarin not as a second language, but as a first language. Children learn, play, sing, even dance in Mandarin. They learn the language effortlessly in an immersion environment, absorbing it as only preschoolers can. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, the guiding principle behind Terra Mandarin Preschool's program is to nurture the infinite capabilities of young children. This approach allows children to investigate and create meaning through play and project-based learning, understand that all learning is connected, and experience every event as an opportunity to gain a new and exciting understanding of the world. At Terra Mandarin, teachers are students, students are teachers, and parents are partners in a collective learning environment.
