Winter Clearance Sale at the Friends' Book Place

The Winter Clearance Sale, January 29-31 at the Book Place, is fun for the whole family. The sale features 50% off storewide on books, audiobooks, DVDs, and CDs. With sale prices starting at 25 cents for some children’s books, up to $1.00-2.00 for most other books, you’re sure to find something for your stash. Individually-priced books, current titles and collectibles are half off the sticker price. Sunday is a Bag Sale for $7.00 per standard grocery bag. (Sorry, oversized Costco-type bags are excluded.)
Pre-selection/holding of materials prior to the start of the sale is not permitted. Sale hours are Friday and Saturday, 10 am-4 pm, and Sunday, noon-4pm. We’ll be replenishing stock during store hours Friday and Saturday, so return to find more deals. Cash and check only, please, (no bills larger than $20 are accepted).
The Book Place is located at 1608 Grant Avenue, near 7th Street, in downtown Novato. There is parking behind the store (enter off 7th Street) and a back entrance. Our phone number is 415-209-0212. All proceeds benefit county library programs and materials.
