Yom Hashoah Ve-Hagevurah Holocaust and Heroism Remembrance Day

This event is expired.

Please join us for the South Peninsula Yom HaShoah Service of Remembrance. This inter-generational event will feature stories of survivors recorded and presented by local teenagers.

"For the dead and for the living, we must bear witness." These are the words of Elie Wiesel who passed away on July 2, 2016. His legacy is a beacon of humanity and hope.

This year's Yom HaShoah v'Hagevurah Service of Remembrance focuses on this great humanitarian, Nobel Prize winner, author and survivor of Auschwitz Birkenau and the Death March to Buchenwald. The ceremony will feature Wiesel's writings, as well as songs, music, prayer and artwork as a means of commemoration.
