Corte Madera Montessori
Every child comes to school with their own individual interests, capabilities, and personality. At Corte Madera Montessori, our goal is to help each child flourish and thrive in their own unique way. We value and respect the children in our school for who they are today and who they will become.
We believe that children learn best when they get to follow their interests and engage with stimulating and thoughtful hands-on materials. Our head teachers are trained and credentialed in the Montessori Method which fosters a joy of learning, supports independence, and enables creative exploration. The Montessori curriculum includes sensorial exploration, sewing and weaving, nature and geography, the arts, reading and writing, and numeracy/math.
We also believe that children are happiest when they feel like valuable contributors to their communities. Whether helping a friend or taking care of the classroom, we provide children with opportunities to take responsibility for themselves and others. Children develop empathy, kindness, and respect for the things and people in their environment.
Ages: 2 to 6 (Option to stay for kindergarten)
School Hours: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
