Fairfax!

Hi! My family and I (husband--Iban, 3.5 year old daughter--Anushka, and myself--Yvette...currently 2mos pregnant!) are looking for a place to HOUSE SIT / RENT / SHARE in Fairfax for November and December, possibly January. My sister and her family live in Fairfax and I have yet to meet my new niece! Iban will be working at the Trader Joe's in San Rafael--when we lived in LA years ago, he worked at a couple different TJ's over 4 years. He's a teacher in spain and is going to look into substituting in California as well. I'm an actress by trade but currently a stay-at-home mom.

We're open to different/creative ideas for a home because we really would like to be in Fairfax.

We don't have but do love animals, if someone needs one to be taken care of. Both my husband and I teach spanish and are open to giving Spanish lessons to children and/or adults. We also both love to cook and love cooking delicious healthy meals...for others as well.

We live in Spain (Iban is from San Sebastian), currently Navarra--15 min. from Pamplona in the countryside. Our home will be free, so of course we are open to house swapping as well.

WE'VE BEEN QUITE A FEW TIMES TO FAIRFAX SINCE MY SISTER MOVED THERE AND LOVE IT. IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS FOR US, WHATSOEVER, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

One of the reasons I'm excited about going for this long stay, is to get together with other mom's and kids at the park or in playgroups. Anushka's native language is Basque and although she understands English completely, the language composition isn't there. She's still so young and there's no rush but I do love the idea of her being around English-speaking children to help create the need for her to express herself in English more.

If you would like to meet my sister, just let me know. We'll arrive in CA around mid-October and will spend the 1st couple weeks in San Diego before heading up to Fairfax for your wonderful Halloween!
Thanks for reading the post!
