We caught up with Adina and asked her a few questions about herself and her business and why she loves helping others.

Please tell us about yourself. What's your background?

I was born and raised in San Diego. I have a background in leadership skills and education. I have four kids, ages 8, 7, 6, and 2 1/2 (yup, I had 3 kids under 3 smiley). We moved to Novato 6-1/2 years ago to start a local non-profit, where I am a spiritual community leader and work-at-home mom.

What inspired you to become a life and relationship coach?

I've always loved everything about psychology and self-help. My talent is to connect intimately and authentically with other people, and when I came across life-coaching, I knew it was part of my calling. In the work that I already do, I do a lot of advising and consulting. Many people seek guidance from me and I really wanted more tools to better help people.

Most importantly, I've been through my own motherhood journey and have really transformed myself from the inside out in the past 6 years and want to help others do the same; get from where they are now to where they want to be. I am so passionate about helping moms, and feel like we all could use extra support and someone in our corner.

How does your business work? What's it all about and how is it unique?

I've named my business Authentic Living, because I feel like we all need more real in our lives. More people telling their truths, owning their stories, being driven by their passions, and living their dreams.

Instead of the superficial "How are yous?" and "Things are fine," I want more of the messy, the real, the authentic, the imperfect, and the glorious. I've overcome many of my own challenges (you can read about some of them in my blog posts) and I'm ready to help you live true to yourself, find balance, live out your passions and your dreams, and anything in between.

I specialize in supporting moms, although of course. anyone could benefit from a Life Coach. I always offer a free 30-minute session, and then I have various packages in ways women can work with me. In addition, I have a six-week personalized coaching program called "The Calm & Confident Mom Program."

What is your favorite thing about your business and clients?

My favorite thing is seeing the results my clients get and the shifts that occur in their lives as a result. I am so grateful for how far I've come in my own journey, and I just want to be of service to others to help them along theirs. Seeing women overcome the "Not-Good Enough Syndrome," the mom-guilt, their inner bullies, and turn into confident and empowered moms is so gratifying.

What do you and your family love most about living and working in Marin?

We love the people here. People are so warm and kind, and connecting with people and hearing their stories is something I love. We're also nature lovers, so we go on hikes and visit all the parks.
