All children love playing with their food, and the Bay Area Discovery Museum’s newest traveling exhibit is a chance for them to do just that – without the mess! Arts & Crafts Show was established by artisans who were inspired by the Arts & Crafts Movement. They wanted to offer special artisan gifts –jewelry, clothing, decor, and handcrafted products –direct from the artists, artisans, and tradespeople. Be sure to attend this gift market extravaganza with many fine creations from which to choose. Over 200 artisans and craftpeople will be showcased. Free admission. When the evil Baron Bomburst desires the magic car for himself, the family joins forces with Truly Scrumptious and Grandpa Potts to outwit the dastardly Baron and Baroness and their villainous henchman, the Child Catcher. The annual Mill Valley Middle School Cabaret includes approximately 100 students in grades 6-8. Students audition to participate in the cast; others apply to participate in the backstage crew as stage managers, set designers, costume designers, makeup artists, lighting assistants, and sound assistants. Peter Pan includes familiar elements of the beloved show; however, in typical MVMS Cabaret tradition, the audience can anticipate unexpected surprises! Tickets: $10–$35.
