Our first nanny, Cristina Batres, will be available in early June, ideally in the Marin community.
She has been working for our family for more than 3 years. Prior to work with us, she has many years of nanny experience. We usually use her 4 days/week.
She is fluent in English and Spanish and can drive kids. She would likely prefer infant and young toddler age because she enjoys that bonding.
Those are just the details. We have all grown so attached to her! She has an easy laugh, an enthusiastic approach to everything from taking temperatures to our kids' digestive schedules. I have always communicated with her easily throughout the day regarding my 3.5 year old daughter and 1 year old son. She started with us when my daughter was just 4 months old.
She is flexible beyond belief and absolutely always kind and respectful even on my less than perfect mornings and/or bedraggled return home from work.
I literally cannot say enough about her. We are moving from Marin. We will miss her terribly but this will be your gain!
As you have probably experienced, there is really no greater trust you can imagine than the person who takes good care of your children. We have left them both with her on multiple overnight trips.
