Pom Moms: Older Babies and Toddler Group

A Circle for moms with babies ages 6 -24 months with Amy Baxt. Amy is a family counselor, parent educator and mother of three. She is passionate about offering support and education as parents find tools for creating lasting family connections and decreasing stress. Each session will include play time for the children, and guided discussion for the adults.
Topics will include:
• Milestones and play based learning
• Attachment theory beyond infancy
• Celebrating holidays with our new family's values
• Early foundations of discipline
• Positive communication in parenting
• Toilet time & simple sign language to reduce toddler frustration
The support of consistent community to create trust and learning is a priority for this group. Childcare provided for toddlers. Newborn babies are welcome to attend this group.
