Women's Beginner Photography Class

Designed to inspire women to take their interest to the next level, this hands-on, fun-filled class offers a solid foundation in the art, science, and craft of photography. Through weekly demonstrations, lectures, group critiques, at-home assignments, and personalized feedback, students will refine their unique vision while gaining the tools they need to make great photographs! The class will culminate in a screening of student work presented to friends and family.
In this course, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of digital photography including camera basics, exposure, principles of light and basic lighting techniques, image processing and editing to refine images,and the basics of compostion. Students will learn how to organize the elements of an image; and effectively analyze, criticize and evaluate images created by themselves and others.
