Stafford Lake Full Moon Campfire and Smore’s Fest!

Celebrate Spring Break with a fun-filled, educational event for the whole family. We’ll tell stories around the campfire, sipping cocoa and constructing our Smore’s while taking in views of the full moon and park. We’ll discuss the Coast Miwok and the significance of their communities that are woven into the local landscapes as well as basic astronomy concepts and the influence they have on our life in Marin County. Dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Don’t forget to bring a flashlight. No pets (except service animals) are allowed at this park. Rain will cancel. Park entrance is waived for participants. From Hwy 101 in Novato, take the exit for San Marin Dr west 2.9 miles. Turn right onto Novato Blvd and follow for 2.6 miles. The park is on the left. Turn right after the gate house and follow to the first parking lot.
