We ADORE Oded Herbsman with Discover Health (previously A Child's Light Pediatrics). He has been taking care of our son (who is now 4.5) since he was 17 months old. Dr. Oded is extremely responsive, kind, engaging and super smart...with his finger on the pulse of new and innovative research in pediatrics. Our first child had some pretty severe sensory and speech related issues and Dr. Oded held our hands and helped us through every step from assessment to treatment (and this cutie is doing great!!!). Dr. Oded was also right by our sides as we anxiously awaited the certain to be, severely premature births of our monoamniotic twin girls, who were delivered at 32 weeks gestation at CPMC, where Dr. Oded is the Vice Chair of the Pediatric Department. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for Dr. Oded and his amazing care, oversight and connection to our children and our family. There is no amount of money that could be paid for the peace of mind he provides us. When our twins were but 36 weeks gestation and about 5lbs, they developed a respiratory issue. Dr. Oded was at our house within an hour with a breathing machine, steroids and everything else we needed to knock the infection out and keep them out of the hospital. I could go on and on and really gush....the reason being that he cares for our children (and me the mama too) as if we were members of his own family. We are new to the area and needing a ped. Recently, my husband had to take our son to the ER. He asked the physician to recommend a dr and he suggested Dr Ernster in Mill Valley. He said this is who he takes his children to. I have been nothing but pleased with him. He's prompt, personable and my son likes him. With our last per, my son would cry from the moment he walked in the door until he left. Good luck!
