Meet Curious George this Saturday at the San Francisco Zoo
Curious about what’s happening at the San Francisco Zoo this weekend? Come help welcome that famous little monkey Curious George and his sidekick the Man in the Yellow Hat this Saturday, August 24.
The duo will appear on Saturday on the zoo's Patas Lawn, where you can also hear readings of classic Curious George books by Margret and H.A. Rey and have your picture taken with these fun friends.
Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat will make appearances at 11 am, noon, 1 pm, and 2 pm. Book readings will take place at 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, and 1:30 pm. Programs are free after zoo admission.
This weekend, you can also take a free shuttle bus to the zoo from San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf area. The free shuttle will pick up at Red & White Fleet at Pier 43½ and the Rainforest Café at 145 Jefferson Street. Weekend shuttle service continues through labor day.
