Note that many of these events require advance registration and some may depend on weather conditions so make sure you check with the organizer before you go.
All Weekend
- Take a wildflower hike with the kiddos in Marin and marvel at the bounty of colorful spring blooms!
- Go on a train ride, hunt for eggs, and participate in Easter activities at Roaring Camp Railroads in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Saturday & Sunday, 10:30 am–3 pm.
- Catch a screening of The Secret Garden (1993) at the Lark Theater in Larkspur, Saturday, 9 am & Sunday, 11 am.
- The Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival returns to San Francisco's Japantown, Saturday & Sunday, 11 am–5 pm
Friday, April 18
- Enjoy songs, movement and dancing at Sing and Stomp, San Anselmo Library, Friday, 10:30 am–11 am.
- Kids in 5th to 8th grade can win prizes at an after-dark flashlight egg hunt at Grove Park in Berkeley, Friday, 7–9 pm.
- Bring a basket for the Flashlight Egg Hunt for ages 8–12 at Memorial Park, San Anselmo, 8 pm.
- Bring your flashlight and basket for an evening egg hunt for ages 8 and over at Piper Park, Larkspur, 8:30 sharp!

Saturday, April 19

- Bring a basket for an egg hunt, photos with bunny, Town Park, Corte Madera starting at 10 am sharp. For all ages.
- Head to Sausalito for an Easter parade, egg hunt, Easter bonnet contest, entertainment, and more, Saturday, 10 am.
- Make Easter arts and crafts, dye eggs, and maybe even meet the Easter Bunny at Pini Hardware Kids' Club in Novato (San Marin location), Saturday, 10 am–2 pm.
- Bring the kiddos for the 46th Annual Easter Egg Hunt with special guest the Easter Bunny, Marinwood Community Center, 10 am sharp.
- The Fairfax spring egg hunt, bunny photo shoot, and music takes place at Bolinas Park, 10 am sharp.
- Bring the kiddos (ages 2–10) to the Annual Children’s Easter Egg Hunt at the Historic Sonoma Plaza, Saturday, 10 am sharp.
- Join Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco for a family friendly Earth Day Festival, Saturday, 10 am–3 pm.
- Bring the family to Earth Day in the Great Meadow at the San Francisco Botanical Garden, Saturday, 10 am–1 pm.
- Ross Spring Fling is a kid-centric celebration of all things spring with a petting zoo, cookie decorating, egg hunt (11:30 am), and food and drink, Saturday, 10:30 am–12:30 pm.
- Celebrate Easter with an egg hunt (10:30 am for kids 4 and under, 10:45 for kids 5 and up) and photos with the Easter bunny, Marin Country Mart in Larkspur.
- Hunt for eggs and take a picture with the Easter Bunny at Memorial Park in San Anselmo, ages 1–7, Saturday, 10:45 am.
- The Easter Bunny hops into Bon Air Center in Greenbrae for photos and treats, Saturday, 11 am–2 pm.
Sunday, April 20
- Shop for fresh produce and handcrafted local foods at the Marin Civic Center Farmers Market, Sunday, 8 am–1 pm.
- Hunt for eggs, meet the Easter Bunny, play games, and more at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Novato, after 9 am Easter mass.
- Learn about Baltimore Canyon on a ranger-guided adventure in Larkspur, Sunday, 9–11 am.
- Shop at the Petaluma Vintage Market and hunt for the golden eggs (85+) with hidden surprises at the Petaluma Fairgrounds, Sunday, 9 am–3 pm.
- Have brunch with the Easter Bunny and hunt for eggs at the Tilden Park Merry Go Round in Berkeley, Sunday, 10 am and 2 pm seatings.
- Enjoy photo ops with the Easter Bunny at San Francisco Zoo, Sunday, 10 am–3 pm.
- Celebrate spring in Napa with an Easter brunch and egg hunt at Meritage Resort, Saturday, 12:45 pm and other afternoon seatings available.
