- Enjoy seafood, entertainment, activities, a boat parade, and more at the Bodega Bay Fisherman's Festival, Saturday & Sunday, 10 am–5 pm.
- Explore the Marin Headlands and the Point Bonita Lighthouse (open Friday–Mondays, 12:30–3:30 pm).
Friday, May 3
- Bring the little ones to Pop-Up Storytime in Boyle Park, Mill Valley, 10:15 am.
- Sing and stomp with with musician Emily Bonn at the Town Plaza in San Anselmo, Friday, 10:30 am–11 am.
- Take a wildflower hike with the kiddos in Marin and marvel at the bounty of colorful spring blooms!
Bring the family to Big Art Weekend at the Bay Area Discovery Museum, Sausalito, Saturday & Sunday starting at 10 am–4 pm.
Saturday, May 4

- Get free bike safety lessons, helmet and bike inspections, and take a ride around the Embarcadero at the San Francisco Bike Rodeo, Saturday, 10 am–4 pm.
- Enjoy free kids' crafts, activities, and a petting zoo at Children's Day at the historic Sonoma Barracks, Saturday, 11 am–3 pm.
- The Bay Area Book Festival Family Day offers a full day of interactive fun for little ones, middle-graders, and teens, Downtown Berkeley , Saturday, 11 am–5 pm.
- Enjoy games, crafts, performances, and more at the Japantown Children's Day Festival in San Francisco, Saturday, 11 am–4 pm.
- Watch Rogue One and make your own droid and lightsaber for Star Wars Day at Marin City Library, Saturday, 12:30–3 pm.
- Celebrate Star Wars Day at Novato Library — costumes are encouraged! Saturday, 2–4 pm.
- Saul Goodman's Klezmer Band performs at Corte Madera Library, Saturday, 3–4 pm.
Sunday, May 5
- Shop for fresh produce and handcrafted local foods at the Marin Civic Center Farmers Market, Sunday, 8 am–1 pm.
- Cycling enthusiasts from around the Bay Area will gather at Napa Bikefest for rides, entertainment, activities, food, and more, Sunday, 8:30 am–3 pm.
- Explore the World War II-era Battery Townsley in the Marin Headlands at its monthly open house, Sunday, noon–4 pm.
