- Go on an easy winter waterfall hike with the family in Marin.
- Disney on Ice presents "Let's Dance" at SAP Center in San Jose, Friday & Saturday, 7 pm, Sunday 11 am, 3 & 7 pm.
- Have a blast riding the rides at the Petaluma Carnival at the Fairgrounds, Friday, 5–10 pm, Saturday, noon–10:30 pm & Sunday, noon–10 pm.
- Learn about elephant seals at Drakes Beach in Point Reyes National Seashore, Saturday & Sunday, 12:30 pm & 2:30 pm.
- Join Marin Symphony for bugs, bats, birds, and the Beatles at Marin Center, Saturday 7:30 pm & Sunday, 3 pm. Youth tickets only $25!
Friday, February 20
- Sing and stomp with musician Emily Bonn at San Anselmo Library, Friday, 10:30–11 am.
- Mill Valley Library presents a free screening of Disney's Encanto, with free popcorn, Friday, 3–4:30 pm.
- Join Bay Street Plaza in Emeryville for a Lunar New Year celebration with performances, activities, and food, Friday, 4–7 pm.

Saturday, February 21
- Shop for fresh produce and locally made foods and enjoy live family entertainment at the Marin Country Mart Farmers' Market, Saturday, 9 am–2 pm.
- Celebrate the Lunar New Year with a lion dance performance at the San Anselmo Town Plaza, Saturday, 11 am–noon.
- Get a head start on your family's summer planning a the San Francisco Summer Resource Fair, Saturday, 11 am–2 pm.
- Welcome the Year of the Horse with storytelling, performances, activities, and more at the Oakland Museum of California, Saturday, 11 am–4 pm.
- See Formula 1 race cars drive up and down Marina Boulevard at the free Red Bull Showrun San Francisco, Saturday, 11:30 am–3:30 pm.
- Take a family winter nature walk at the Montini Preserve in Sonoma (meet at General Vallejo's Home), Saturday, noon–1:30 pm.
- Ring in the Year of the Horse with lion dancing, drums, and dumplings at Thrive City in San Francisco, Saturday, noon–3 pm.
- Jack London Square in Oakland celebrates the Year of the Horse with performances, kids' crafts, giveaways, and more, Saturday, 1–3 pm.
- The Marin Chinese Cultural Association's lion dancers come to Larkspur Library to celebrate the Lunar New Year, Saturday, 1:30–2 pm.
- Join Mill Valley Library for Family Storytime in the Children's Room. Saturday, 2:30–3 pm.
Sunday, February 22
- Shop for fresh produce and handcrafted local foods at the Marin Civic Center Farmers Market, Sunday, 8 am–1 pm.
- See the classic Studio Ghibli movie Spirited Away at the Lark Theater in Larkspur, Sunday 9 am & 3:30 pm.
- Bring the whole family to the Osher Marin JCC for the free annual Purim Palooza, Sunday, 11 am–2 pm
- Learn about marine mammal babies at Marine Science Sunday at the Marine Mammal Center in the Marin Headlands, Sunday, 10:30 am, noon & 2 pm.
- Go on a sunset stroll with rangers at Ring Mountain Preserve in Corte Madera, Sunday, 4:30–6 pm.

Take a family hike to one of Marin's amazing waterfalls.
