Snails & Turkey Tails Forest School Camp

Join us this summer at China Camp State Park for Forest School Summer Camp! Camps are offered in June and July. Each camp runs for one week, M-F.  Camps have a 1:4 teacher/child ratio, with a max of 8 campers weekly.

 

Our nature immersion camp teaches kids about local wildlife, plants and the history of China Camp. We often see deer, lizards, birds and many types of dens and nests over the course of a week. Days are filled with scavenger hunts, nature inspired crafts, games, tree climbing, nature hikes, beach exploration and plenty of time for individual and group adventures. 

 

We meet at various locations within China Camp State Park including China Camp Beach, Miwok Meadows and the Back Ranch Meadows Campground.
