Hello All-

I am trying to make a final decision on a preschool for my two boys. We live in San Rafael and want to find a preschool closer to home that has a steller staff and wonderful educational focus.

We have narrowed our search down to Marin Formative and then to Montessori in Motion. Both appear to be great schools.

Marin Formative has a religion base to it which is fine with us however I'm not sure about the overall educational focus of the school. Seems good but I'm just not sure. They can only take the 5 yr old and the the younger boy not until March when he is 2 1/2yrs old . The 5 yr old would be in a full boy class of other 5 year olds who are being held back a year. Lots of boys he could have friends with or lots of distraction...

Montessori in Motion can take both boys ( one is 5 and the other will be 2) It would be great to have both boys in one location. The play yard looks like a boys dream land. The school is nice with a play mixture with the Montessori focus. Looks good too. They have small teacher to student ratio. My 5 year old would be in a group of 9 kids mix with girls and boys ages from 4.5 to 5plus. The 2 year old could start too and be with 6 kids. Small focused groups.

I cannot find any reviews on the schools.

We have one more meeting with IcreCream and Shoes but I'm not crazy about the campus area.

Can anyone comment and let me know their thoughts on either school.
