Climate Connections Academy

This week-long summer day camp offers an engaging, hands-on learning experience focused on exploration and discovery. Participants will learn directly from guest speakers and industry professionals, gaining real-world insight into STEM fields while building confidence and curiosity. The program blends classroom-based lab testing and experiments with outdoor field experiences, including guided hikes at the Indian Valley Preserve, allowing youth to connect scientific concepts to the natural environment. Hosted on a community college campus, the academy also includes a campus tour and concludes with a capstone project, all designed to strengthen students’ sense of belonging in STEM and expand their awareness of future education and career pathways.
