Marin GreenPlay Camp Nature Adventures

This summer, enroll the kiddos for a unique summer adventure in nature at Marin GreenPlay Camp!  Voted Best Summer Camp by Marin IJ readers, Marin GreenPlay Camp is an innovative and place-based nature awareness camp for kids entering kindergarten through 12th grade that takes place at locations in Mill Valley, the Ross Valley and other locations in Marin County.  Now in its 17th year, Marin GreenPlay Camp is the sponsor of our 2026 Marin Summer Camp Guide! 

For kids going into TK-2, our WATERSHED WARRIORS camp is neighborhood nature adventures in Mill Valley and in the Ross Valley (Corte Madera, Larkspur, Kentfield, and Greenbrae), filled with games, walks, stories, art and more! Each of our six summer weeks has a unique theme tied to the beauty, wonder and awe of our bay, forest and creek habitats.

For grades 3 and up our RIDE FIVE camp takes kids to the beach for boogie boarding, surfing, marine biology experiences, and beach fun!  Our ROCK FIVE camp is Marin’s only all-outdoor rock climbing experience beginning at Ring Mountain and progressing to more challenging climbs all over the Bay Area throughout the week. Kids who want to try both can enroll in THE EXPERIENCE camp, which offers beach days, a climbing day, birdwatching, nature journalling, hiking, plentiful opportunities for games and art, karate, mindful meditation, yoga, and more.  And dog lovers won’t want to miss our DOG DAYS camp where campers bring their dogs to camp, share them with campers who don’t have a family dog, learn how to walk on trails with dogs, play games with the dogs, make dog-inspired art, hear from presenters on dog topics every day, become coyote aware and so much more!
