Place-centered Nature Camps

In Place is a Marin-based nonprofit focused on place-centered nature education. Through our holistic approach to place-centered nature education, we explore our dynamic home landscapes as we value the unique inner landscapes of each child. We do this with a joyful blend of Nature Connection, Expressive Arts, and Wellness Practices.

  • Nature Connection–-awareness activities, nature explorations through arts, play, science, kinship, and reciprocity practices.
  • Expressive Arts--place-based arts and crafts, creative writing, and movement.
  • Wellness Practices–tending the inner landscape through mindfulness, communication skills, gratitude, and kindness.
