Test Your Riding Skills at Stafford Lake Bike Park in Novato!

Are you ready to roll? Pack up the bikes and head to Marin County's only public bike park at Stafford Lake County Park in Novato. This 17-acre bike park has features for all skill levels, including a perimiter trail, a dual slalom, a progression jump course, a beginner pump track, and a kids' learn-to-ride area. It's ideal for BMX, mountain bikes, and dirt jumpers.

Beginners should check out the learn-to-ride zone with its pump track. The perimeter trail is ideal for riders of all skill levels, and the progression jump course has three jump lines at varying degrees of difficulty. Stafford also has the only dual slalom course west of Truckee, which is meant for intermediate and advanced riders. Get ready for your ride by downloading the course map from Marin County Parks.

Riders should bring their bikes (of course) as well as helmets and protective gear. All children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult. During COVID-19, riders must maintain a six-foot social distance from others not in their group and face coverings must be carried at all times and worn when necessary. Stafford Lake Park is located at 3549 Novato Boulevard in Novato. Parking costs $5 per car. Bike park features may close periodically due to maintenance or weather conditions (especially after a strong rainstorm); call (415) 473-JUMP (5867) for updates.
