This winter, many private schools in Marin are holding open houses and tours for parents of prospective students. If you're considering a local preschool or private K–12 for your child, you'll definitely want to attend. The following schools and preschools are holding open houses this January. Unless otherwise noted, these open house events require RSVPs in advance.

Marin Waldorf School, San Rafael

• Small Group Campus Tours
  Preschool and Kindergarten tours: Fridays 9–10 am
  Grades 1–8 tours: Thursday 9–10 am
  The best way to learn about Marin Waldorf is to experience it! Join one of our small group tours for adults only to view our beautiful 10-acre campus, observe classes in action and learn about the Waldorf curriculum. Register for tours.

Montessori de Terra Linda

  Saturday, January 10, 9–11 am
  Our Open House is for prospective parents interested in our Pre-Primary, Primary, and Elementary programs. During your visit, you will spend time in our classrooms, learn about our Montessori program directly from our phenomenal teachers, and hear from a panel of MdTL alumni. Mount Tamalpais School, Mill Valley

• Experience the World of STEM at MTS
  Saturday, January 10, 9:30–10:45 am
  Join three different class mini sessions taught by MTS faculty in science, technology, engineering, and math. Families rotate through mini class sessions highlighting our K-8 STEM curriculum.
