Upcoming Marin Private School and Preschool Open Houses

This month, many private schools and preschools in Marin are holding open houses for parents of prospective students. If you're considering a local a preschool K-8 for your child, you'll definitely want to attend. The following schools and preschools are holding open houses this January. Unless otherwise noted, these open house events require RSVPs in advance.

  • Terra Marin School
    Mill Valley
    Thursday, January 9, 6 pm

    Join us for our interactive Open House & Exploratory Day to meet our talented staff, hear from our Head of School and learn all about our innovative and progressive K-8th grade program.. Children are welcome to join and will enjoy fun activities in line with our curriculum including archery and rocket making, while parents learn about our program, tour our campus and meet and mingle with our staff.   • The New Village School
    Friday, January 10, 8:30–10 am

    The first step to learning more about the New Village School is to come and visit us at a School Tour and Open House. Our School Tours are on Fridays and provide an opportunity to see the school in action.     Come explore San Domenico School's campus at their Preview Day. Upon your visit, you will quickly recognize that our 515-acre solar powered campus provides a living laboratory for hands-on learning and fosters a deep understanding of eco-literacy and sustainability.     This innovative day school for students through 12th grade with learning differences such as dyslexia, nonverbal learning disabilities, and executive functioning difficulties opens its newest campus in Marin in August, 2020.     Open House is a day for parents to connect with our Montessori community and better understand our program. Attendees will meet our teachers, who will open their classrooms and demonstrate their expertise. Current parents, board members, and alumni will also be on hand to share their experiences at Marin Montessori.     Families will have the opportunity to visit each classroom, learn about our mission, curriculum, service programs and after-school activities. Teachers and Administration are available to visit with prospective families, and all questions are welcome! You may also view textbook materials, and samples of student work.
