Watershed Warriors at Marin GreenPlay Camp

Marin GreenPlay Camp

Marin Mommies presents a sponsored article from Marin GreenPlay Camp.

Marin GreenPlay Camp’s Watershed Warriors program is your go-to nature camp for kids entering kindergarten through second grade!

Watershed Warriors introduces your child to so many Marin habitats, from the marshland and mudflats of Richardson Bay and Corte Madera Creek to the rolling hills of Ring Mountain, Green Gulch, and Tennessee Valley to the tree-lined creeks of Mill Valley and the Ross Valley to the sandy beach of Muir Beach.

Kids learn to use their keen observational skills to notice patterns in nature, what those patterns remind them of, and to find out more about what they wonder about most. Exploring, arts and crafts, games, and story times are just some of the fun offered by this program that will entice your child with the splendor of Marin's natural environment.

All walks are of an age-appropriate length and activities are chosen for this age group's developmental stage. An easy but meaningful service project is part of the program to get your child into the habit of "leaving places better than the way they found them," in the words of Mill Valley's own famous naturalist, Elizabeth Terwilliger.

Both full day camp, from 9 am to 4 pm, and half day camp, from 9 am to 1 pm, are available along with complimentary before- and after-care from 8:30 am to 9 am and 4 to 5 pm. This camp is offered weekly from June 24 to August 9.

Our staff loves guiding kids in nature, and many are returning this year to welcome your children, whether for their first Marin GreenPlay experience or as returning campers. Register now!
