We have a wonderful nanny from Mexico who we hired for just 4 months to care for our 4 year old daughter when we relocated here from overseas and I went back to work. I wish we could keep her, but we had already committed to sending our daughter to a full-time school program with after school care in the Fall.

Coming from overseas and multiple moves in the last 2 years, Katia, was quick to offer loving, happy, but quiet and strong structure and stability to our daughter. Katia is loving, enthusiastic, reliable, and flexible, while also being a calm disciplinarian. She has a driver’s license and picks up our daughter at morning camp every day. We were in the city in a small, temporary apartment for 6 weeks. She took our daughter to the library and zoo. Now here in Marin, she arranges age appropriate play dates, is creative, and looks about to help in the house as she has time. She speaks Spanish and English. We had her speak only Spanish with our daughter to continue our daughter’s Spanish. I want to help Katia find a family with whom she can work on a full-time basis. We can be flexible on the start date for the right situation. Katia would prefer a family in Marin.
