Memorial Day Weekend is almost here! Check out our list of 12 fun activities and outings for Memorial Day Weekend in Marin and the San Francisco Bay Area, from a festival celebrating Marin's Greek heritage to a fun family carnival at the Mill Valley Community Center.
- Have a blast and raise money for local schools at the annual Kiddo! Carnival in Mill Valley. Wristbands on sale now!
- Enjoy Greek food, music, culture, and fun at the 2026 Marin Greek Festival.
- Take the ferry to Angel Island for a day of hiking and exploring the island's historic sites.
- Build a sand castle and picnic at a local Marin County beach.
- Go for a train ride at Sonoma TrainTown (open Memorial Day, 10 am–4 pm). Have a picnic on the Sonoma Plaza after.
