Creative Family Fun: Catch a Breeze-Pilots at Crissy

For December we are honoring the Presidio’s aviation history! Pilots at Crissy Field airstrip would have needed to know how windy it was as wind can affect a plane’s take-off and landing. See just how windy it is by making your very own Presidio-themed windsock to take home!

Drop in every Saturday and Sunday between 10 am to 3 pm for imaginative craft-making based on the Presidio’s natural and cultural heritage. Best for kids aged 5 to 12 years. Free.
