When his older brother goes to the city, Barzabai chafes under his father’s strictness. He is frustrated by his father’s lack of confidence in his abilities with the eagle that is his father’s constant companion. He feels incompetent at the gathering of the eagle hunters and their sons. Finally Barzabai leaves to go to the city to find his brother. Fortunately, he is followed by his father’s prize eagle.
