Calling all pie bakers! Do friends and family say you make the best pie ever? If so, come show off your Americana baking skills and enter the 4th Annual Pie Baking Contest at the Marin Country Mart Farmers’ Market on Saturday, September 13th. The blue ribbon winner will receive a $200 cash prize and eternal bragging rights!
To enter the competition, bring your best pie to the BIG farmers' market tent at the Marin Country Mart by 10 a.m. the morning of Saturday, September 13th. Pie entries should be prepared in a disposable 9" pie tin, and must be accompanied by the title of the pie, the bakers name, phone number, and the pie recipe. Ingredients must be all natural (natural does not contain any artificial ingredients, coloring, or chemical preservatives), and only one entry is allowed per person. Pies will be judged on appearance, filling, crust, and overall taste. Roll up your sleeves, roll out the dough, and show us how you roll!
Interested in learning to make pie from the best bakers in town? Then stop by the Apple Pie Making Demonstration, taking place from 10:30-11:30 am. Three Babes Bakeshop will be selling slices of pie all day long, with over six types to choose from!
