Summertime on Main

Starting on Wednesday, July 22 and running for four consecutive Wednesdays, through August 12, Main Street will become “pedestrian only” from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Why come down to Main Street? Summertime on Main will offer children’s entertainment, live music for kids and adults, sidewalk sales and the opportunity to wine and dine al fresco on the street.
Participating merchants on Main Street and Historic Ark Row will be offering discounts, restaurants will serve meals at outdoor tables and there will be various activities to keep the kids happily engaged while parents enjoy themselves.
The Summertime on Main lineup for July 22, the theme of which is “Main Street Musical”, will showcase live performers “Once Upon a Song” Princess Song Performance for children and The Rusty Strings Band for adults.
The Town is joined by The Ranch (Belvedere-Tiburon Recreation) and the Tiburon Chamber of Commerce in orchestrating this exciting new event series.
Tiburon is ideally situated in sunny Marin, an enjoyable 20-minute ferry ride from San Francisco’s Ferry Building or a short drive over the majestic Golden Gate Bridge. Surrounded by water on three sides with breathtaking views of San Francisco, the Bridge and Mount Tam, it boasts a historic downtown, a railroad museum and miles of walking and biking trails. In addition to the new Summertime on Main event series, Tiburon continues to offer its very popular Friday Nights on Main series on the last Friday through September.
Everyone is invited to come and enjoy summer days every Wednesday on one of California’s most charming downtowns.
