Experience STEM at the Free North Bay Science Discovery Day

Join local universities, museums, research labs, and other organizations for the free North Bay Science Discovery Day, taking place at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 10 am to 4 pm. This event was created by the Buck Institute for Research on Aging and UC San Francisco, and has been going strong introducing youth to STEM concepts and ideas since 2011.

Discovery Day is a free event for children, teens, and families that will spark curiosity and excitement about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Take part in STEM storytimes and presentations with scientists, get hands-on with STEM activities at home, meet scientists and learn about their work, learn about local nature and wildlife, see live demonstrations and experiments, and more!
