Family Take-Out Meals in Marin

While outdoor dining is open at many Marin restaurants, a few fantastic local establishments are still offering family meals, feeding anywhere from 2 to 8 people, for pick up or delivery. We love these family meals because they take the guesswork ourt of ordering food to go and usually offer a great value. They're perfect for a busy back-to-school week where schedules are new and you can't find the time to come up with a meal every night.

Northern Marin

Finnegan's Marin, Novato — Take home hot or cold family-style meals that serve 2–8, featuring pub favorites like shepherd's pie, mac-and-cheese, corned beef and cabbage, and BBQ, 3–8 pm, Wednesday–Sunday. Kid's pizza kits available, too. They also offer cocktails, beer, and wine to go.
Le Col Rouge, Novato — Le Col Rouge offers a family meal of 8 pieces of their signature Nashville hot fried chicken and two large sides.
Mary's Pizza Shack, Novato — Feed the family with Mary's big meal deal, featuring Italian-American faves like lasagne, spaghetti, meatballs, caesar salad, garlic bread, and of, course pizza. They also offer kids' DIY pizza kits.
Roadside BBQ, San Rafael — Roadside BBQ's family pack comes with their smoked meats; side dishes like slaw, baked beans, braised greens, and mac-and-cheese; and corn muffins.

Central Marin

Comforts, San Anselmo — Marin takeout mainstay Comforts offers family meals serving 2–4 people with a wide variety of dishes, from chili to their famous chicken okasan.
Madcap, San Anselmo — Michelin-starred Madcap creates family meals for curbside pickup Tuesdays–Saturdays, 5–7 pm. Dinners include house-made rolls and dessert. Wine, beer, and soda available, too.
Taco Jane's, San Anselmo — Jane's Family Taco bar for up to 4 people includes salsa, organic salad, choice of meat, fish, or veggies, rice and beans, and corn or flour tortillas.
El Huarache Loco, Larkspur — Order family-style Mexican dishes like enchiladas, mole con pollo, sopa azteca, and more for pickup Thursday–Sunday, 11 am–4 pm.
Pig in a Pickle, Corte Madera — Family BBQ platters include a variety of smoked meats and sides. Bottles and cans of craft beer and cider are also available to go.

Southern Marin

Piazza d'Angelo, Mill Valley — Downtown Mill Valley's Italian hot spot offers family meals with either spaghetti and meatballs or roasted chicken. Meals feed 4 and come with caesar salad and homemade tiramisù.
Piatti, Mill Valley — Choose from 3 different courses (salad, pasta and dessert) to create your own family-style meal. Serves 4–5. Cocktails, beer, and wine available to go, too.
Parranga, Mill Valley — Choose from a variety of Mexican-inspired farm-to-table family meals, including their signature rotisserie chicken. Beet and wine available to go.
Playa, Mill Valley — Playa offers a Wednesday Special Chicken Dinner benefiting KIDDO! and local k–8 schools. Includes chips and salsa, spit-roasted adobo marinade whole chicken, cilantro rice, pico de gallo, caesar salad, roasted veggies, black beans, churros. The family dinner is only available from 5 to 7 pm every Wednesday. Feeds up to 4.
Bungalow 44, Mill Valley — Order a bucket of fried chicken (one whole chicken — 8 pieces) and sides like mashed potatoes and buttermilk biscuits.
Servino Ristorante, Tiburon — Servino's Sunday supper feeds 2 and includes a main, sides, and dessert. Kids' DIY pizza kits are also available. Available while supplies last. Pick up Sunday 4–6 pm. Wine, beer, and cocktails available to go, too.
