Get Your Tickets for the 2026 Mountain Play: The Wizard of Oz!

The Mountain Play, the San Francisco Bay Area's most magical outdoor theater experience, is back for 2026! This season, you and your family can follow the yellow brick road to Mt. Tamalpais State Park and experience the Mountain Play's production of The Wizard of Oz! Performances of this family-friendly musical take place at 1 pm in Mt. Tam's Cushing Memorial Amphitheater on June 7, 13, 14, and 21. Come be a part of this time-honored Marin County tradition and enjoy an amazing outdoor theater experience! The June 13 performance will be a sing-along!
Featuring an iconic musical score from the classic 1939 MGM movie, The Wizard of Oz tells the tale of Dorothy Gale and her journey from Kansas to the magical Land of Oz. With familiar songs like "Over the Rainbow," "We're Off to See the Wizard," and "If I Only Had a Brain," there's something in this production for theatergoers of all ages!
The Mountain Play's production of The Wizard of Oz is directed and choreographed by veteran Bay Area actor and director Dyan McBride, with musical direction by Jon Gallo, costume design by Bethany Deal, and scenic design by Andrea Bechert.
We attend the Mountain Play every year and are so excited it's back for 2026 after a hiatus in 2025. It's one of our most beloved family traditions!
General seating (first come, first served) tickets cost $50 for adults, $25 for youth ages 4 to 25 (free on opening day). Children 3 and under are free and no ticket is required.
