Harry Potter at Home Brings Hogwarts to Your House!

Experience the Wizarding World of Harry Potter while you shelter in place! The ever-popular series about the adventures of the boy wizard and his companions comes to life in the Harry Potter at Home website from author J.K. Rowling and publishers Bloomsbury and Scholastic. Launched in response to the COVID-19 crisis, his amazing online resource features plenty of magical activities and other treats to inspire the kiddos to have fun and get reading while we're all staying at home. It's a perfect introduction to the series for new readers and a treat for fans of the books young and old.

The newest addition to Harry Potter at home is a video series of famous faces and friends of Hogwarts reading chapters of the first Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (originally published in the UK as Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone). Daniel Radcliffe, the actor who portrayed Harry Potter in the film series, kicks off the series by reading the first chapter: "The Boy Who Lived."

Subsequent chapters will be released soon, with readers ranging from Stephen Fry to Dakota Fanning; join the Harry Potter Fan Club to get a sneak preview of future readers. You can also access the audio versions of the chapter readings on Spotify. You can even submit your own artwork depicting scenes and characters from the chapter via the Wizarding World Twitter account; make sure you tag your posts with #HarryPotterAtHome.
