We are so pleased and honored to bring the magic and culture of Le Petit Jardin French Immersion Preschool to the vibrant community of families in the northern San Rafael/Marinwood area!
LPJ is a unique preschool program that combines loving childcare with daily experiences in and around the French and Francophone cultures. Children are introduced to sounds and words of the French language through song, nursery rhymes, stories, and general everyday interactions. As children are exceptional language learners by nature, this immersive environment enables them to quickly become familiar with French and to begin to excitedly use it for themselves.
Our days here at Le Petit Jardin are rooted in the idea that a child learns through play and exploration. We lead children each day through a fun variety of arts and crafts, story time, classical dance (ballet), cooking, science activities, music, and plenty of outdoor free play time. These experiences are guided in French to familiarize children with numbers, letters, colors, shapes, and other early vocabulary.
We recognize that each child has unique talents, learning style and personality. LPJ is committed to ensuring optimal social, emotional and linguistic growth by getting to know our students and families well. By intentionally keeping a low student-teacher ratio, we are set-up for happy, healthy learning and individualized avenues to success!
