LearningFun Now Offering Classes for Kids in San Rafael

Collage of LearningFun art projects

Marin Mommies presents a sponsored article from LearningFun, offering classes for kids in San Rafael.

Announcing new classes for children brought to you by a local mom and experienced teacher Eva Kissova. LearningFun is now offering group classes for a variety of ages (4–10) in San Rafael. Small class sizes let your child enjoy social interaction with personalized instruction. Let your child get out of the house and have fun learning while you enjoy time to run your errands.

Pick from several fun educational classes or time blocked out for after school tutoring. Rest assured that when you and your child pick from the class list, that it will be LearningFun!

Music/Art Class
Throughout her teaching career Eva frequently mixed subjects together which offers more fun and strengthens the learning experience. In Music/Art Class the students learn about a composer, a piece of music they wrote, listen to the piece of music, and then create an art project related to it. They also play musical games, learn songs, all tied to the theme of the class.

Arts and Science Class
In this class we are again learning through art. Class topics include ocean and ocean animals, Japan and origins of origami, dinosaurs, and more. After topic discovery time we will branch out to work with various media that would include learning to create colors, draw, paint, sculpt or paper folding related to the theme of the class.

After School Tutoring and Games
This class is focused on students needs to improve in any subject of their choice. Homework help is the priority, but LearningFun knows kids need time to play educational games and practice creativity through art.

Classes are held on Wednesdays with more days added as demand increases.

  • Music/Art: 9:30 am–noon
  • Art/Science: 2–3 pm
  • Tutoring: 3–6 pm.
