Clifford Comes to the Discovery Museum
The Adventures with Clifford the Big Red Dog exhibition opens at the Bay Area Discovery Museum in Sausalito this Saturday, October 6, so come and board the Birdwell Island Ferry and discover Clifford’s world. The exhibition features numerous hands-on adventures that introduce children to “Clifford’s Big Ideas”—life lessons such as playing fair, being kind, being truthful, and being respectful of others. Also on hand will be Emily Elizabeth and other fun and loving residents of Birdwell Island.
Also, come meet Clifford in person! He’ll be on hand on October 7, 13, and 27 from 10:00 am to noon; November 10 and December 1 and 8 from 1:00–3:00 pm; and December 17–21 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Come and get up close and personal with the loveable big red dog, and don’t forget to bring your cameras.
Other activities include chances to meet helpful dogs from our community. On Sunday, October 7, museum visitors can meet the assistance dogs of PAWS and learn how they help people with disabilities. On Saturday, October 13, future Guide Dogs for the Blind from the Puppy Club will pay a visit.
