Five annual free days are just one way the Exploratorium remains accessible to everyone, regardless of a person’s ability to pay the cost of admission.
Annual Free Days
General Admission is free to everyone five days a year, a program that began in fall 2013. The 2015 free days are listed below:
Pi Day (Friday, March 14, 2015)
Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 10, 2015)
Engineering Day (Sunday, September 27, 2015)
Founder’s Day (Sunday, October 11, 2015)
On free days, museum entry is on a first-come, first-served basis.
