Can anyone recommend a good daycare/preschool?

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good daycare/preschool in the San Rafael/San Anselmo area? I have a 17 month old & want to enroll him part time. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or advice in my search.
thanks!

I want you to meet my son's day care/ pre school provider

My 3 year old son attend this school. It has been a great environment to help him to socialize in a smaller group. He is very comfortable here. He has come a long way in his maturity in a short amount of time. I can only say good things about Karina and her program. Every day she has new activities ready for the kids to challenge them while having fun. Montessori has a natural way of teaching children that is age appropriate while still preparing them for the skills they need to develop. Karina has 10+ years experience with her own home-based daycare and has recently completed all her classes to become a Montessori teacher (AMS). If you are looking into pre-schools, you should give Karina a call before her spaces fill up. Her house is across street from the Oleander park. Her own children (3!!!) now in elementary school (Mary Silveira) are GREAT with my child!

*Home-based Montessori preschool located in Terra Linda is accepting new students, ages 18 months-5 y.
*Hours are from 8:30 - 3:00 pm (later hours are available)
*This program is small (4-6 students)
*Available year-round (1 wk vacation July and 1 wk vacation December)
*Potty-training friendly
*Daily hot lunch (mostly organic ingredients) served as family style
*Music, Spanish and Portuguese taught

For more information, contact Karina, my childcare provider.

New group forming now (infants and toddlers) Affordable $$$

I'm a pre school teacher running my own family day care Montessori/Waldorf based here in Terra Linda (Off Manuel Freitas). My preschoolers are now leaving and I'm just starting a new group of infants/toddlers. It's a low ratio group. Would like to stop by and chat? I'll be more then happy to give you references from my past and present parents too. ECE TEACHER/Montessori (AMS/IMS). + Portuguese and Spanish speaking. Across street from the Oleander park. Meals on us! Most of it organic, all served as family style and under supervision of 4C's Nutrition Program!
Hope to hear from you!
Best, Karina.
