health insurance for the self employed?
We are moving to Marin (San Anselmo/ Fairfax) in about 8 weeks and are needing to switch for our NYC based health insurance. Are there any freelancers out there who can recommend their health insurance plans?

we are moving to San Anselmo/ Fairfax later this summer and need every kind of doctor: Pediatrician, dentists (pediatric & adult), Internist/ family medicine practitioner, ob-gyn/ midwife.
Any recommendations (or warnings against!) would be greatly appreciated.

We just moved to Fairfax in April from Brooklyn and also needed to get our own health insurance. We ended up going with Blue Cross Anthem. We picked the SmartSense plan for my husband and baby and I got the Lumina (something like that). I got a different plan because I got maternity coverage. I called Blue Cross and they asked me a bunch of questions and then gave me the details for several plans that might work.
We found a great pediatrician --- Dr. Sexton in Greenbrae.
We are still looking for a family practitioner and an ob-gyn. If anyone has any recommendations, I would appreciate it.
