Win Tickets to the February 25 Speak to Me Event, Featuring Debora Spar

Speak to Me, Marin's premiere series of intelligent, inspiring speaking events for women, presents the next event in its 2013/2014 season, "Wonder Women: Sex, Power, and the Quest for Perfection" with Barnard College president Debora Spar on Tuesday, February 25 at 6:30 pm at the Mill Valley Community Center.

As the president of arguably the most important all-women school in the country, Debora Spar brings research, wisdom, humor and insight to the heated debate about how women’s lives have and have not changed over the past forty years. How far have women really come? And what will it take to get true equality for good? Can women really have it all?

Speak to Me events take place at the Mill Valley Community Center at 180 Camino Alto in Mill Valley, and include a one-hour presentation with Q&A, food- and wine-tasting reception, and a book signing. Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the presentation plus a Q&A sessions begins at 7:15 pm. Speak to Me attendees will also enjoy a fabulous food and wine tasting reception at 8:30 pm, featuring creations from local chefs, restaurants, and cookbook authors.
