Messy Art Fest! Bay Area Discovery Museum

This weekend, March 30 and 31, 2019, the Bay Area Discovery Museum transforms itself into a blank canvas for Messy Art Fest! You and your child can create, paint, dance, and push the limits of arts and crafts at this weekend-long, creative family festival. During the Messy Art Festival, there will be no rules and no clean up (the museum will take care of that)! Get messy and explore endless ways to have creative fun!

Messy Art Fest programs will include rainbow slime, spray bottle painting, a mud kitchen, sand art, pastel art, scribble machines, al fresco watercolor painting, ceramic studio, sand art, and pastel art. Programs take place throughout the day. In addition, there will be a special Mural Dance Party with Asheba (Saturday) and Juice and Jelly (Sunday) and a demonstration where you can learn tips and tricks from a professional ceramacist.

All Messy Art Fest programs are free after museum admission. There will be a member hour from 9 to 10 am on Saturday; general admission opens at 10 am. Outdoor programs are subject to cancellation in the event of rain.
