For children ages 3-6, Snails & Turkey Tails Nature School is a nature discovery class for children ages 3–6, inviting children to slow down, look closely, and enjoy the wonders of the natural world. Through hands-on activities, simple hikes, and imaginative play, children build curiosity and confidence outdoors. Exploring outdoors in all types of weather helps to build confidence and resilience as children try new things, gain new skills, and get to know themselves as part of a small, nurturing, and playful group. Classes meet weekly at Lake Lagunitas in Fairfax.
