As a photographer, one of the things that I am most passionate about is connecting with people. Whether I am working with a client on a portrait session or capturing candid moments at a wedding, building a connection with my subjects is essential to creating meaningful and authentic images.
At its core, photography is about storytelling. It's about capturing a moment in time, and preserving it for posterity. Many of my clients and I have stayed friends over the years and I have documented so many special moments or events in their lives. Documenting the changing lives of families year after year is the best feeling. I am open to finding cool locations to take photos, and I consider that an adventure with camera in hand!

A little about me: I am a mother, a lover of coffee, tiny babies, kids and all their uniqueness. I love being out in nature hiking and spending time with friends and family. I love to have fun and connect with people. I am always told I can walk into any place and find a friend, it's who I am. Anyone that knows me knows this.
I chose this path many years ago because it’s what made me the happiest and most fulfilled in life. My daughter was a toddler and became the practice subject of many a photo shoot. I learned very quickly what’s important in a picture — it's not necessarily a pretty posed photo, although those have their love and meaning for families (AKA the annual Christmas card). It’s the wild and wonder of children with messy hair and and how they see life. It’s the way a little one looks at their parent, the funny faces they make that you will want to remember, that one "lovey" that went everywhere. How I think I would want to remember something is what I photograph. There is no better feeling than being the reason someone is happy, in life or in photos.
