Marin Mommies presents a sponsored shout-out from Ritter Center in San Rafael.

The holidays bring joy for many—but for some of our Marin neighbors, they bring uncertainty and struggle. Hardworking parents face unexpected crises: a sudden job loss, a medical bill, an unplanned rent increase. Seniors live on fixed incomes that don't stretch far enough. Veterans and individuals experiencing homelessness need access to primary care and support.

"If not for Ritter, my daughter and I could have lost our home," shares Alicia, a client who received emergency assistance that gave her time to find new work and maintain stability for her family.

Alicia is one of more than 2,500 people Ritter Center served in 2024, providing food, medical care, behavioral healthcare, and wraparound social services to community members during their most difficult moments.
