There's Something for the Entire Family at the Sausalito Art Festival

Sausalito Art Festival

A Marin County tradition for over half a century, the Sausalito Art Festival returns to Marinship Park this Labor Day Weekend, August 31 through September 2. The family friendly festival showcases the works of the finest local, national and international artists, with thousands of original works of art by 260 artists, including paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, fiber art, fine glass, woodwork, mixed media, and photography.

Of course there are plenty of other things to see and do at the Sausalito Art Festival, including music by legendary headliners and local favorites on two stages. Headliners at this year's festival include Blood, Sweat & Tears, Blues Traveler, Kingsborough, ZZ Ward, and others, as well as some of the best tribute bands around. Fantastic food, beer, and wine will be available, too. Check out their complete list of entertainment here.

Kids Entertainment

This year, young visitors to the Sausalito Art Festival will have a chance to get hands-on with creating real art at the Children's Adventure Land! The Bay Area Discovery Museum will offer a shibori dying class from their Messy Art Fest daily from 11 am to 2 pm, and Mobile Maker Club will be on hand for a wide variety of fun kids' maker activities from 2:30 to 5:30 pm.
