Marin Mommies presents a sponsored shout-out from Tree Urchins, a preschool nature program debuting in Fall 2024.
Coming to Marin in 2024 — Tree Urchins nature adventure for preschoolers! The Tree Urchins program gets preschoolers out into nature, exploring the trails and open spaces of Marin County. Natural sites reveal wonders that spark and engage the natural curiosity of young children.
On the trails we find the perfect playground to promote the big body movement our kiddos need. The children build resilience and trust on our journeys, and have so much fun adventuring that they barely notice the challenge! We'll visit popular sites like San Quentin Beach, Blackie’s Pasture, Ring Mountain, Baltimore Canyon, Cascade Canyon, Roy’s Redwoods, Alto Bowl, Sorich Park, Phoenix Lake, and Sky Ranch.
Tree Urchins currently has openings on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30-12:30pm. Cost is $475/month for a child's single day enrollment (e.g, every Thursday morning of October)
