Visit Marin's Amazing Rombeiro Christmas House this Weekend!

The Rombeiro Family will not be decorating their home for Christmas in 2022. Thanks so much to the Rombeiros for welcoming the community into your home and sharing the joy of Christmas with us all over the years.

Perhaps our favorite thing about the holiday season is visiting amazing lighted and decorated holiday houses here in Marin. The Rombeiro House opens for its 30th anniversary season this Sunday, December 5 at 6 pm. That's right — the Rombeiro family has been making the holiday season brighter for three decades!

With 140,000 lights, the Rombeiro House is a legendary holiday decoration tour-de-force, and truly has to be experienced in person to be believed. Usually, you can tour the inside of the home, too, but this year it will once again be an outside-only experience only due to COVID-19.

The Rombeiro House was featured in 2019 on the ABC TV show The Great Christmas Light Fight. They won, too!

When you're visiting, feel free to drop a donation into the donation box, if there is one, since that December PG&E bill is probably a whopper. (Rumor has it that it costs upwards of $4,000 each season!)

The Rombeiro House is located at 34 Devonshire Drive (off Center Road) in Novato. It's on view daily from Saturday, December 5 through January 6 from 6 to 10 pm every day (including Christmas and New Year's Day). Read about our visit here.
